Well, we were going to head to Venice today for Carnevale, but it's raining pretty hard down there and we didn't really want to take HD out in bad weather. Monday is supposed to be better - keep your fingers crossed (Carnevale ends on Tuesday - Fat Tuesday, to be exact).
So we're hanging around the house with plans for gelato later this afternoon. And then tonight we are going to the church to watch the broadcast of President Hinckley's funeral.
We had a fairly rough night last night (poor HD is trying so hard to adjust...and we're almost there), so just relaxing sounds about right to all of us. And since we're relaxing, I thought I'd post some pictures of dinner last night. Matt's parents treated us to pizza at their favorite family restuarant, Tussi - it is the same place we went the night Matt proposed. The pizza was delicious! I ordered 4 Stagioni - with ham, artichokes, peppers, mushrooms and olives - and I can't remember the name of Matt's pizza but it had ham, bacon and pepperoni. Matt was in heaven. HD tried some, too, but she was pretty tired (it was after 8 pm) so I don't know how much she truly appreciated it. Good thing we still have time for more pizza!

Horray, so glad that you are still blogging even a few thousand miles away. I love all the pictures. And I am so jealous...but very very happy for you. I'm so glad that the plane rides over went as well as could be expected. What a big relief. I hope that you have a wonderful time.
I can almost smell the pizza through the computer, that smell of an Italian Pizzeria will always linger in my mind or nose. You ordered my favorite pizza, yea!!!!

Oh, man, that pizza looks awesome!
So cool! I am carving that pizza so bad, you have no idea! Enjoy a slice for me, ok?
So glad you made it there safely and that you are all adjusting (although that first night sounded pretty exhausting!). Glad you were able to watch the funeral there. Hope you continue to have a fabulous time...loving the updates! By the way, we have the same diaper bag and stroller! Funny.
The pizza looks so good. Learn how to make it and when we come down you can make it for us. Oh, you already know how to make good pizza, you are just missing the brick oven.
I miss that pizza, can you bring some home? Looks good!
I bet that pizza is amazing!
